SCHOOL UNIFORMS AT ST. THERESA SCHOOL

Uniforms at St. Theresa School are essential to foster a sense of community, equality, and discipline helping to reduce socioeconomic distractions and promote focus on learn and spiritual values. They also help us create an identifiable community. The following information is part of the St. Theresa Dress Code.

Permitted uniform components must be purchased through our exclusive supplier, Land's End. All uniform items and personal belongings should be marked with the student's name; markings should be permanent (sew-in name tags, written in permanent marker).

Permitted uniform components are pants, shorts, skirts, skorts, kilts, jumpers, polos, sweatshirts, and fleece. Our school uniform colors are:

• red
• white
• navy blue

Pants and Shorts for Boys and Girls

• Land's End St. Theresa khaki or navy blue pants or shorts with the St. Theresa logo. 
• Uniform pants must be worn at the waist and may not be oversized.

Skirts, Skorts, Kilts, and jumpers for Girls (St. Theresa MacBeth Plaid)

• Macbeath plaid jumpers (Kindergarten Preparation - 3rd only)
• Macbeth plaid skirt, skort, kilt (all grades)
• The St. Theresa MacBeth Plaid uniform skirt, kilt, skort, or jumper must be worn at a medium length, no shorter than 3 inches above the knee.

Shirts for Boys and Girls

• Red, white or navy blue Land's End short-sleeve polo shirt with school logo
• Red, white or navy blue Land's End long-sleeve polo shirt with school logo
• The Land's End polo shirt must display the school logo and be of a size appropriate for the wearer. 
• A red, white or navy t-shirt may be worn under the school uniform polo. The t-shirt under the polo shirt in the allowable colors only, must be tucked in and not visible below the bottom hem of the uniform polo shirt or sleeves of the shirt. 

Sweatshirts, Sweaters, Fleece for Boys and Girls

• Land's End navy blue crewneck or half zip sweatshirt with school logo
• Land's End navy blue or red full zip fleece jacket with school logo
• Land's End navy blue cardigan sweater with school logo
• St. Theresa School uniform sweatshirts, fleece, and sweaters are the only sweatshirts, fleece and sweaters that may be worn inside the  school buildings and on the grounds during school hours. 

Shoes for Boys and Girls

• Matching conventional athletic shoes with laces that tie or Velcro that secures the shoe to the foot. 
• Shoe colors are red, white, navy blue, black and gray.
• No large logos, lights, wheels or excessive additional colors.

Socks for Boys and Girls

• Matching red, white, navy blue or black socks
• Red, white, navy blue or black tights or leggings may be worn; no thermal weave is permitted.
• Leggings must reach the ankle, and socks must be worn

Boys and Girls Physical Education Uniform (GRADES 6 - 8 ONLY) 

All middle school students are required to wear Land's End P.E. uniform components. 

Middle grade students are required to follow the P.E. uniform or designated P.E. days (Currently these days are Tuesdays and Thursday each week). The P.E. uniform is the only acceptable attire permitted.  

• Land's End navy blue uniform athletic shorts with school logo
• Land's End red t-shirt with school logo
• Land's End navy blue sweatpants with school logo 
• If the student is unable to wear the P.E. uniform on a P.E. day, the student must come to school in the regular school uniform. Alternative attire may not be worn to school. .

8th Grade Sweatshirts (GRADE 8 ONLY)

Each year, the 8th grade class designs a sweatshirt to celebrate their last year at St. Theresa. These sweatshirts can be worn with approval by School Administration. The sweatshirt colors will vary in color depending on the design.  More information is shared with the students and their families by the 8th Grade home room teacher.
