Faith Families is a cross-grade experience led by eighth grade students. The eighth grade “parents” coordinate and lead activities and events, and encourage student spirituality and sense of community while attending liturgies as a Family. Each Faith Family is a blend of students from different grade levels that allows for personal one-on-one attention to support and integrate our youngest students into the St. Theresa School community, while providing older students with the opportunity to be leaders and role models to the younger children.
Our "Buddies" program also provides older and younger students time together for liturgies and special occasions. Each Kinder Prep and Kindergarten student is paired with a designated eighth grade student “buddy,” first grade students are paired with seventh grade “buddies,” and second grade students are paired with a sixth grade “buddy”.
