Mission & Philosophy

Since our founding in 1958 by the Sisters of the Holy Names, we have been dedicated to creating a safe and loving environment where students can learn and grow. We operate within the Catholic Schools Diocese of Oakland. We are a coeducational school accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA).

St. Theresa School is a Catholic community that fosters academic excellence and spiritual growth through a rigorous, faith-integrated curriculum. In partnership with parents, the school prepares students to become lifelong learners and moral decision-makers who respond to the call of Catholic Social Teaching.
